We are so excited to welcome you all to Palazzo Buonvisi! This beautiful property was home to historical leaders like Francesco Sfroza in the 1400s, who was an Italian military leader (condottiero) who founded the Sforza dynasty and ruled as the Duke of Milan from 1450 until his death, as well as the private residence of the Buonvisi family, who made their wealth in the banking industry and silk trade and became one of Lucca's most influential and wealthy families between the 13th and 17th century.
Now under new management, the Brooks family is committed to bringing this 12 century palace back to a place of prestige. Michael and K'Dia Brooks are U.S. Military veterans and real estate investors, who saw the vision of what Palazzo Buonvisi could be yet again! They are excited to welcome families from all over the world to experience this little piece of Italian history here in Ghivizanno. Benevenuti!
